about this blog

Wikipedia lists wabi-sabi as:

  • In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi() is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.[2]The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”.

In the context of this blog, I use the term to describe ourselves and our ninety year old home through the process of rediscovering the beauty within our flaws, scars, and breaks from living and loving.
