My potatoes are about 2-3 tall and not really doing anything. I’m waiting for them to blossom or wither to harvest. One friend suggested that my using grocery store potatoes as seedlings that I’ll probably not get much at all.
ours were organic, and growing like crazy. we now have four growing plants out of eight starts. I think the missing ones were all one type of potato.
the biggest risk here is the high heat of midsummer. if they don’t produce spuds until cooler weather of fall, we might get a crop…
