This evening was overcast and in the mid-80s for the first time all week. And the only time, with a heat advisory through the weekend.

So, I gassed up the Toro and cut the yard. It needed it. For all the drive I have to diminish the lawn and replace it food and flowers, cutting it is a sense of accomplishment.

There are material piles here and about, and messes still to be planned or finished, but I can see the future beds. I’m understanding where the pathways will lead…

This garden is the best thing for us this year. It saved me during my six week shutdown, giving me ways to work without having to break isolation. Really, our garden would be nowhere as put together as it is without the Kansas City Metro shutdown.
