Tree number two:
Theoretically, this will eventually become my peacock tree, although currently the only peacock feathers on it are artificial and covered in glitter.
But it’s a start, and everything has a starting point. The tree itself is old and sparse and at least a bit crappy. I think I bought it for five bucks from K-Mart in the middle of January fifteen years ago. Still, it’s just the frame. I’d rather not see much of the tree when I’m done…
The globe lights are about as old, and brighter than most. And they mess with taking photos. Eventually, I’d prefer blue and green lights on it.
I also dressed the dresser and side table with my fledgling “mercury” glass tree collection. Not so bad for a late evening’s work.
